The Central Asian classical music tradition mugam is also present in Turkmenistan by name as the mukamlar (). ==National anthem== As a Soviet Republic, Turkmenistan's national anthem was "Turkmenistan", composed by Veli Mukhatov with words by Aman Kekilov.
